You Look for Models? Here is One...

On 19th April, 2007 at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, I had a rare chance of meeting Miss Zambia 2005. Infact we were on the same flight to Nairobi - both of us on transit. I always like people who have high goals. I spoke with her and promised her that I would put her on my website. Here she is.

The Pride of Zambia

Precious as the name goes is really precious. She is true to her name, gorgeous, elegant and yet humble.

Look at those eyes!!!

She is as pleasant to talk to as she looks.

Precious Kabungo Mumbi

When I met Precious she was on her way to Geneva to give a conference on varied topics to the UN. She is just elegant. I looked so small in front of her.

The true Ambassador - Precious K. Mumbi

There is a legend about Mumbi among Bemba people of Zambia - that she dropped from heaven and she is the mother of human race. Surprisingly I find the same legend among the Kikuyus of Kenya who also have Mumbi. This Precious Mumbi looks like one who has dropped from heaven.

A Natural Pose

For all reasons she deceives her position. She is intelligent and I could see from her handwriting, having studied graphology. She is worth a woman.

Her contribution

I didnt tell you this, did I? That she emerged second in Miss Africa Queen. For me she deserves more than that.

Let me say more about her

In the last two years, Precious, who also represented the country at the Miss World 2005 in China, has devoted her time to various projects such as The Chilenje Transit Home, the Blood Bank and the World Food Programme school feeding programme.

Want to read her own words?

“In my work at the World Food Programme, I do travel to rural areas where I get first-hand experience of some of the challenges women face. That is why I felt so passionate about it. I also talked about the girl-child and the need to invest more in education,” Precious said in an interview after coming from the contest.

I am not Precious, I am Fr. Eustace

But I can tell you one thing before you scroll up

Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.That's what has happened to Precious and it can happen to you if you just have courage, determination, and wil.
